Pookified Anime North Photos
The Anime North Photos are ready!Anime North 2008 has come and gone. This year marked the first time that Jack and Pookie Publishing was at Anime North with product and in the dealer's room no less! Sadly, we were the best kept secret at Anime North, but do know that we are working hard to correct that. Even still this year at anime north was over ten times better than the last AN I attended and we are hoping to keep that trend going and growing! This year at Anime North, we got to meet a lot of interesting and dedicated people. To wear some of the costumes in those temperatures, you would have to be. To everyone that stopped by and to everyone that helped support our small growing business, we say thank you and be sure to keep your eyes here and on our affiliate site. New things are in the works, new products are on the horizon, and new contests will be in the works too! Be sure to check in to see more anime north photos! This here was a lady cosplaying in a seriously awesome character. I do not know what what show/game/movie/series she was from, but to wear that kind of costume was a statement! The temperature at Anime North was quite warm, and that costume had to have some weight to it. Props to anyone that puts that much time and energy and commitment to their craft!

More Anime North Photos... This was an image I snapped up of two ladies that wandered by my table. They had uber awesome cute hair!

These two were touring the dealers room. I was impressed by them, as they were traveling just like they do in their cartoon Bleach! I was amazed that they were able to get anywhere as they were getting their picture taken every two steps they took!

When I had a free moment or two, I got to explore and see who was in attendance. This was one of the booths in the Artist's Alley

Even more Anime North photos! Better hide Hollows, Anime North had a lot of soul reapers! This lovely lady was cosplaying as a vice-captain,to which I say w00t!

My two artistic directors weren't able to make it Friday, but he was there on Saturday and Sunday. Here he can be seen with the demon Sechomeru...I think that is how it is spelled (Inyuasha's older brother) Craig, the Ninja Bunny Master is the person responsible for the artistic direction and development of the Bo'Glin series.

This was a young lady that stopped by on Sunday. She said that she wasn't cosplaying, but looking like that, she didn't need to! She was fortunate enough to get her hands on one of the elusive promo cards that the team has. Do not miss out people, not everyone will get them!

Of course, it would not be an AN without my good friends at Dragon Mango. They had a stuffed bunny up for grabs, sadly we did not win, but next time, next time!

At Anime North, I got to meet many people, among them was the cute Emmy! She kept us company when things were a little slow and helped out a bit. Your assistance was greatly appreciated!

Once again, touring through the building, I found another exhibitor in the Artist Ally

Here is another shot of Emmy and another cute cosplayer lady that happened by our table. In this shot, she has some chain mail she made. Awesome yes?

Here is a shot of what the Jack and Pookie table looks like. If you go to a trade show or convention where we are at, this is what our booth looks like!

Here is a shot of a lady that stopped by the table. She purchased a nice fluffy tail, but had no belt to attach it too. She was also sporting an uber cool LFG shirt, we had fun singing 'Slaughter Your World' it is a seriously wicked song!

These were my neighbors at Anime North, they had some awesome stuff, but because of how they displayed things, many people thought that I was selling their products? They had some awesome stuff regardless!

Even more Anime North Photos In the Artist Ally one group of people had a giant transformer! Autobots! Transform and roll out!

At Anime North, I got to Demo my game, the first game, I got smoted...BUT, then in the second game, I got beaten down again... Having had my share of abuse, I stepped aside and let a few others try it out. We were scheduled for an hour, it went longer as the players were having fun!

Back at the table, two wild pokemon wandered by!

Back in the Artist Alley, it is hard to notice everyone in this busy environment, having a gimmick helps. This person had a puppet! It works!

At ANY convention, there will be one or two or twenty some odd sailor scouts. This Sailor Saturn really stood out!

Here is an image of my editor and a person that won in a contest I hosted. He came in second. He also brought me some stuff!

As people who know me know I am a Chobits fan, of Plum or Sumomo to be specific. hence the tattoo!

Once again in the Alley, this table really stood out for two reasons. One, the hostess of the table was uber cute, second, the table was a pink explosion! It was awesome, had I money to spend, I would have spent much there!

Even more Anime North photos! This was a person with wingswhat more need be said??
